What a year it has been

One year since that first post?

What a year it has been. Title of an Alex Lloyd song--- not a bad one either. Always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with Alex Lloyd. Always ended up going to his gigs, but rarely thought he was amazing. A little too easy listening or something? Easy-listening music is a guilty pleasure for those in their 30's. Its a sign you're getting older. I remember thinking that Travis was kinda good before slapping myself repeatedly about the face.

Back to the song title, and things have changed in the past year, yet stayed very much the same. We're still in Scotland, but now living in Stirling. In the past year I've lived in Blackpool, Scunthorpe, Manchester and London. You really live (as opposed to "exist" as Jimmy Saville would say) when you move around like this but it does take it out of you. There a possibility of a move again in a few months, but I'm not really looking forward to it. Stirling has it all, castles, history, beauty, mountains and Iron Bru.

Working in Glasgow, where I write this now.

Speaking of work, some work has come in for me to do. I'd better get back to it.
